Unifying a 350+ Franchise Network while Driving National Authority and Local Conversions
The digital transformation for Blanton’s Air, Plumbing & Electric required an architectural framework that could successfully bridge heavy-duty performance engineering with a premium, high-converting user experience. Serving as the lead digital design strategist, my mandate was to design a responsive web presence engineered from the ground up for search engine optimization (SEO), rigorous conversion rate optimization (CRO), and granular marketing attribution tracking. By auditing and restructure the platform's information architecture, I focused on reducing cognitive load for users frequently experiencing home service emergencies, ensuring that high-value local intent was immediately captured and funneled into optimized transactional pathways.
To achieve a true production-ready solution, the UI design was fundamentally coupled with deep SEO technical requirements and structured data schemas. I spearheaded the design of location-specific, siloed destination pages that preserved a unified corporate framework while dynamically displaying hyper-local content, reviews, and distinct promotional offerings. Concurrently, the platform's layout mechanics were optimized to support seamless event-tracking scripts and user-behavior analytics without sacrificing Core Web Vitals. The resulting digital infrastructure transformed the brand's online presence into a highly measurable, lightning-fast lead generation asset that maximizes digital marketing ROI.

Build a design solution that elevates the brand, drives conversion, and creates structures for not only the corporate brand, but over 300+ franchises that had fundamental business structure that overlapped with Paul Davis in terms of home remediation, but also carried out other ventures such as remodeling, and traditional PHCE verticals.

When diving into the creative direction for Blanton’s, the primary goal was to completely shed the tired, sterile cliches that dominate the home services industry. Residential HVAC, plumbing, and electrical sites are historically functional but visually uninspiring, relying on stock imagery and rigid grids that lack personality. I wanted to prove that a high-converting home services platform could also look absolutely incredible. By leaning into a premium aesthetic that pairs vibrant brand colors with sophisticated, clean interfaces, we established an instantaneous level of professionalism and trustworthiness. We brought the brand’s unique "Service with a Wow!" mantra to life digitally through polished typography, deliberate whitespace, and dynamic visual hooks that guide the eye naturally down the page.
Beyond purely looking great, every design decision was intentionally rooted in real user psychology and operational reality. Home service emergencies are inherently stressful, so the interface acts as a calming, frictionless guide. We designed intuitive, prominent features that emphasize immediate transparency, such as rapid scheduling options, direct access to the "WOW Service Plan" mechanics, and clear explanations of financing options. By injecting real, authentic imagery and human-centric design patterns into high-conversion zones, the interface doesn't just look sophisticated—it tells a story of reliability. It connects the customer directly to a premium service experience before the technician even knocks on their front door.
